Wealth Distribution
The inefficiencies of probate process can be overcome by creating a trust for you and your loved ones. A trust is a legal arrangement in which you place assets in trust for the benefit of one or more beneficiaries. To name a few beneficiaries who can benefit from the trust includes you, family members and charitable organisation. A trust can be in a flexible manner which can be catered to different circumstances. Creating a trust allows you to protect your loved ones and assets, provide for unfavourable and unexpected occurrences, and distribute assets in a timely and confidential manner. CIMB Trustee Services offers various types of private trust services, ranging from simple asset holding structure to complicated legacy structures.

Efficient distribution of assets to beneficiaries without administrative delays.

The ability to have staggered distribution to beneficiaries.

To provide liquidity for family members in the event of sudden death.

Everyone should have a will. A will is the only way you can tell others how you want your assets to be distributed after your death. It is the only way you can provide for people who may depend on you financially such as your children.

Even if you own only a few assets or you have one beneficiary, it's still worth making a will as you can ensure that the assets are distributed in a speedy and orderly manner without the administrative headache.

Benefits:

The ability to set out your wishes and instructions to your beneficiaries.
Minimise the administrative delays of obtaining Grant of Probate.

Ability to appoint the Executor of your choice to manage and distribute your asset.

Ability to appoint guardian(s) for young children.
